Sunday, September 9, 2006, bikes and bikers of all different shapes, sizes and ages rode down west bound Summit Ave to Mississippi River Blvd. as they began their ride in the Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour. Approximately 7,000 bike riders particpated in the Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour, which offered riders a 15 or 30 mile loop through and around St. Paul . Over 30 miles of the two routes were closed to motorized traffic. .

Scott Stanley took a shortcut at Como Park Conservatory on Monday as the horticultural staff prepared for Friday's opening of the 2002 Holiday Flower Show. Hundreds of poinsettias -- with a color theme of pink and cream accented by green and blue -- are being arranged in the St. Paul conservatory's Sunken Garden.
